Yes. Monthly pet fees range up to $35 per pet and vary by individual community. Please contact your on-site management team for more information and pricing.
Does my cat or dog need to be spayed or neutered to live at an Essex community?
Yes. You must provide documentation from your pet’s veterinarian showing that your cat or dog has been spayed or neutered.
How much is a pet deposit, and what does it cover?
The pet deposit for most of our communities can range up to $250, but this may vary at each individual property. Your pet deposit covers any potential damage in your home caused by your pet, which will be determined at the time of move out. There may be an additional deposit required for a second pet. Is my pet deposit refundable?
Your pet deposit may be refundable, depending on the condition of your home when you move out. We encourage you to complete an in-person or virtual move-out inspection with your on-site management team prior to move-out to discuss any potential charges or fees you may incur.
